A file size of a ts file is about 3GB so I can't upload. It seems that DGsplit can no longer be downloaded.
Hmm..., I accessed the URL and clicked "DOWNLOAD NOW" and clicked "DOWNLOAD: External mirror 1" and went to download page but download didn't begin and "CLICK TO START MANUALLY" link didn't work, either. in addition, I was redirected to non-related page( https://neuron2.net ).The download is working fine for me. Or maybe get this older version:
https://www.softpedia.com/get/System/Fi ... plit.shtml
We do need a sample file, really.
If needed cut it with DGsplit and read here about how to do it:
https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.ph ... 35#p193335
200 MB max should be enough.
For future reference, this link will download DGSplit: http://rationalqm.us/dgsplit/dgsplit12.zip... It seems that DGsplit can no longer be downloaded.
Sorry, I can't understand what this sentence means even using machine translation.
I can't download even using default Goggle Chrome. For future reference, this link will download DGSplit: http://rationalqm.us/dgsplit/dgsplit12.zip

Is it useless with the file split by TMPGEnc MPEG Smart Renderer 6?
Code: Select all
Video
Format : MPEG Video
Format version : Version 2
Format profile : Main@High
Format settings : CustomMatrix / BVOP
Writing library : TMPGEnc MPEG Smart Renderer 6 Trial Version 6.0.10.11
Thank you. I uploaded.Works for me too, but for your convenience I have uploaded it here:

That post which you couldn't understand was a reply to Lotesdelere so just ignore it.
Japanese subtitles of encoded mkv files are shown correctly by default so Japanese language is not the cause, I think. But I noticed you mentioned using a machine translator. So assuming your login name "fuji6215" reflects your country of origin is this problem related to subtitles in the Japanese language?
Code: Select all
Format : ARIB STD B24/B37
Format profile : HD side panel
Muxing mode : CCIS
Language : Japanese
Hmm... But only a week ago, subtitles are displayed by default for ts files, too. Is it because I installed VLC Nightly Build once?At least they work, VLC can display them which is not the case of many other media players.
That said, I haven't found a way to force them to be displayed apart from remuxing the video to MKV and to use the Forced Track flag for the subtitles.
I'm afraid you have to manually enable them. Or maybe someone else will bring a solution.
You mean I should upload a mkv file which subtitles are displayed by default? Then upload a sample file which is showing this behaviour, so we can compare between the two samples.
This page says "The extension will try to load SRT subtitle file of the same name and location as a playing media" but my ts files have no external subtitle files. There's a vlc addon which might help: https://addons.videolan.org/p/1154027
I have a backup of C drive as of June 7th. Please tell me the locations of VLC related files(e.g. setting files), then I copied the files from backup and may be able to return to the original state.
Hmm... But why does this problem happen only for ts files, not mkv files.I've found out the trick: if you set the prefered subtitles language to Japanese (ja) then these subtitles are automatically enabled.
Any other language or a blank setting and you have to manually enable them.
