I'm searching for an "open" solution to play multiple files across several computers in a local network ... in sync. So I'm not trying to use a master -> slave "streaming" solution, but a master -> slave "syncing" solution. Each computer has a video file on his hard disk, and when I start the master computer, the other computers start to play "their" video file as well, in perfect sync. There are a couple of commercial solutions, but I'm wondering if this can be done with VLC in some way. As there is little documentation about the Wall filter in VLC, I was not able to find out if it would work my way, or only in a streaming way.
Could someone help me find out the answer?
