RTSP stream bug. IP OEM camera XM530

Postby Transformer-V » 17 Sep 2024 01:46

Hello. The RTSP stream plays jerkily and then freezes. There are no problems with playback on third-party software - ffplay. I would like to view the stream from the IP camera in the VLC.

For some reason it's using D3D9:

Code: Select all

direct3d9 debug: Using Direct3D9 Extended API!

What is your OS ? On Windows 7 and above, the best video output module should be Direct3D 11:

Tools -> Preferences -> Video
Output = Direct3D11
Tools -> Preferences -> Input/Codecs
Hardware accelerated decoding = D3D11 Video Acceleration

Check also this:
https://wiki.videolan.org/VSG:Video:Color_nVidia

You can also try to enable or disable some video options such as Overlay and/or Hardware YUV -> RGB conversions.

Yes, Windows 7 is used.
Tools -> Preferences -> Video
Output = Direct3D11
Tools -> Preferences -> Input/Codecs
Hardware accelerated decoding = D3D11 Video Acceleration
In the combobox I changed to D3D11 Video Acceleration
Enabled full dynamic range (0 - 255) in the video card settings.
You can also try to enable or disable some video options such as Overlay and/or Hardware YUV -> RGB conversions.
Tools -> Preferences -> Video -> Output modules - > Direcr3D9 - > checkbox Use hardware blending support
Are these settings located here?

The problem is not resolved.

You should create a new report ticket on the VLC issues tracker with your above report, the link to your messages log, and the link to this thread:
https://code.videolan.org/videolan/vlc/-/issues

If possible, because of this:
