tv-out, where is it?

Postby stonkers » 10 Feb 2007 02:16

I'm trying to find out how to output to my tv. I've searched for what to do, but all everyone keeps saying is tv-out and disable overlay video output. Well, I disabled overlay video output, but can't, for the life of me, find tv-out. I would really appreciate some help. Thanks!!!!

That just confused me more. What's "grab display"? I don't see that anywhere either!

Right-click on the player and scroll down to the Open menu, and there you’ll find the Open Capture Device.

OK, baby steps... I know how to open a video file with Capture Device, I can even open a camera with the capture device whilst getting the audio from a sound card. I know how to play a dvd in the player (file/open disk). Once I get the disc playing on the computer, I'd like to send it out of the output of my TV Tuner to my TV. Specifically, how do I get to TV-Out and set it to export the movie to my TV. My guess would be:

1) File/Open Network Stream
2) Check "Stream Save" and select the Settings button
3) Yada, yada, yada...

Can someone please take me by the hand to get this simple task done?

Thanks,
Eric <><

Nevermind, I'm a fool. I was using the SVideo that was the input for my card. I thought it was the output. I used the correct SVideo jack and it worked like a charm.
