[Problem] Darkened Screen

I don't know why, but all of a sudden whenever I play a video, it turns into a darker tint that everything looks as if it were midnight. I reinstalled twice, and I'm out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated.

Try resetting your video card to its defaults. Then adjust the overlay options on your video card. VLC will pick this up then you open a video.

There is also the Extended GUI that is real filters to adjust the brightness etc. This will not effect the overlay settings.
