Is it possible to play rtsp://somewhere/live.sdp by VLC?

I can play it by QUICKTIME and by Real Video, but not by VLC.

it depends what codecs the stream is using. (Btw, vlc doesn't use external codecs ... so either it works or it doesn't ... but you won't be able to do anything about it)

Quicktime stuff will player. Real video won't.
