What is the standard value of audio output?

Postby Atropos » 14 May 2006 19:53

Hi,
I'm using VLC to play audio files, and I would like to know the right value for the audio output, ie the value that doesn't amplifie or atenuate the volume of the audio file :?
Thanks

(sorry about my english, I'm french  )

I have another question...
When I create a playlist by adding a folder, everything is sorted by folders and subfolders, which is quite good since it's exactly how I sort my audio files.
But when I save this playlist then load it, there is no longer any separation between the folders and subfolders.
Is it possible to keep the first look'n feel?

The pop up you see to save or load comes from Windows not VLC. I have never noticed a difference here. That is if I understand your question???
or perhaps it is the way I have my system set up.

In fact when I add a folder in my playlist, it is sorted like the explorer tree (ie if I add the folder "my music" then in the playlist I have a separation like this : "My music/artist/album/file.mp3")

And the trouble is that when I save this playlist and re-open vlc, there is no longer any separation by folders : all the files are put at the same level

(Sorry if I fail to explain correctly, my english is quite bad)

i think what Atropos is trying to say is that when you save a playlist and then reopen it you loose the "tree" layout in the playlist window.

as seen here:

when the playlist is created:

after the playlist has been saved and reloaded:

mark.

Exactly :D
So is there a mean to keep this "tree layout" ?
Thanks for your help :D
