Playlists and Albums only play 1 song at a time

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app for Android several times but whenever I play an album, VLC will only play one song and no others. The songs are still part of the album but not the playlist/queue like they usually are.

Ok so update: I've discovered if I just tap "play" on the album and play the whole thing from the beginning, it plays in full. If I go into the album and select a specific song though, it only plays that song and not the songs that follow.
If I'm listening to an audiobook, for example, and want to press play on a specific chapter and listen to the rest from that point, it will only play the chapter I've selected, and no other chapter after that. I've got screenshots of examples but I'm not sure how to upload them here.

I can't remember if it's already available in the current version or will be in the next, but you can enable "Audio playlist mode" in the Interface setting of the app for this exact purpose.
