VLC for Android 3.5.7
Lately I noticed that H264 MP4 (1920 * 1080) files are playing nicely when encoding at Main/High profile Level 4.X, but stuttering (skipping frames) when the level is 5, at about the same bitrate (abt. 10 - 15 Mbps); VLC on Windows doesn't have this problem; other players on this Android device play the same videos just flawlessly.
When I say skipping frames, it's not randomly lost frames due to too high framerate, but steady, loss, like if some encoded P or B frames are systematically ignored (i.e. video looks like a 10 fps video)
Is this a know limitation ?
