Dear VLC
The PC version of VLC correctly displays aspect ratio of 2.35:1 for example but the android version has to be manually selected for the same file which is a real pain !!

If you long-tap the aspect ratio icon, you get a 2:35:1 entry.

Yes, but he's saying that having to do so each time is the "pain."
