macOS Specs Out of Date on VLC 3.0 Vetinari Announcemtnt Page

Postby Tom_Panfil » 09 Jan 2023 18:54

The main page for VLC 3.0 Vetinari seems to have very stale information about the OSes which are supported. Per that page:
OS Versions

Windows XP ➔ 10 RS3
macOS 10.7 ➔ 10.13
iOS 7 ➔ 11
Android 2.3 ➔ 8.1
...
"Version 3.0.17.3 Vetinari (Intel 64bit)" has run on my MacBook Pro with macOS Mojave 10.14.6 for a long time.

I think that the subject page should be refreshed. I think that I am not allowed to include the link.

Ah, indeed, this is still the state when we released 3.0 quite some time ago. I'll fix for the latest 3.0.18 release page. Thanks for the hint!

Thank you Felix. I appreciate the work which has been done on this project. I've used VLC since about version 0.97. It was recommenced to me by a researcher at the Institute for Defense Analysis (IDA) in the USA.
