Resize/-arrange display icons for handicapped people?

So, one of the inlaws is having issues navigating his songs no matter if album/artists/folder view is selected. I'd need to resize the play/pause and back buttons and if possible place them on the OSD so they are easier to hit on a touch screen. Is this at all possible?

Not sure I understand exactly what is causing the issue. Could you please share a screenshot of what is causing this problem and how we would be able to solve it?
