VLC Won't Play Certain AAC Audio

I don't know what happened, but for some reason, the audio in videos with AAC LC SBR PS format will not play. I got the info from MediaInfo.

I tried everything from uninstalling VLC along with preferences, Windows system restore, uninstalling and reinstalling K-Lite Codec Pack (even though I assume it doesn't directly affect VLC), installed Realtek, but still won't play the audio.

All the other players I have installed plays the audio in those videos.

Please open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the playback, and then paste the full resulting log here or on Pastebin.com if it's too long.

Also upload a short sample of an original problematic file to Zippyshare.com (200 MB max) or to WeTransfer.com and then post the link to the file here.

I can't reproduce the issue but I'm still using v3.0.8 because of some troubles with v3.0.10.
Which VLC version are you using ?

I'm using v3.0.10. Since you mentioned it, I just downgraded to v3.0.8 and all but one AAC LC SBR PS format file that I've tested now works. That one file that won't open at all now (it opened with v3.0.10 but wouldn't play the audio like the others) has a crash message but I didn't send it since it's an older version.

Should I take a gamble and try to reinstall v3.0.10?

P.S. Since it appears that the problem has to do with the version, I'm going to modify the title.

PPS. Even though I modified the title, it didn't change.

What in the heck is going on? They still haven't fixed the problem and people are still DL this screwed up version. I tried installing a nightly build but it won't install.

Should I report it? I think the general rule about bug reports is that once it reported, there is no need to do it again.
