Stream Output for Chromecast

Postby excelsi » 01 Jan 2020 17:37

Hi,

i need the correct Stream Output for a Chromecast V3 accessing this output over HTTP with a Plex Server in between.
I publish this (Ace)stream from Ace Player and at the moment i use this Stream Output on my PC:
#duplicate{dst="http{mux=ts,dst=:8903}",dst=display}

The Plex Server (on the same PC) publish a file with the URL (IP and Port 8903), which the Plex Client use to acces the stream.
The Plex App on my Anroid plays this stream without any problem but the Chromecast gives me a h4 (not supported) error.

It tried already different things on the Ace Stream and Plex Server side (hoping that the Plex Server would transcode the Stream correctly) but without success.

So i think the best would be to include the rigtht transcode things in the Stream Output Setting in Ace Player, but i don't know the details...
I only have a list for the Chromecast compatible Media Formats:
https://developers.google.com/cast/docs/media

Thanks for your help!

Ace Player is violating VideoLAN developers' IPR. Please uninstall. We will not provide support.
