New version doesn't work on my android TV

I found apks from 2.9.0 to current version don't support my android TV:

APK: VLC-Android-TV-1.7.5-ARMv7.apk, works well.
APK: VLC-Android-2.0.0-ARMv8.apk, works well.
APK: VLC-Android-2.5.17-ARMv8.apk, when I first started the app, it showed a spinning circle at the top right corner of my TV screen (see the attached image), looked like it tried to load something, I waited about 30s, it was still spinning, so I restarted the app, it shows the menu, and works well.
APK: Start from VLC-Android-2.9.0-ARMv8.apk to the current version, the app always shows a spinning circle at the top right corner, no matter how many times I restart the app. I tried to wait for several minutes, doesn't work.

Can you have a look at the problem? Thank you.

My android TV specifications:
OS: android 5.0
CPU: A73+A53
GPU: G51
RAM: 2GB
ROM: 32GB

Thanks for reply, I tried VLC-Android-3.0.13-ARMv8.apk, same problem, always shows the spinning circle.
