Postby idic5@yahoo.com » 29 Jul 2018 00:05

I had 2.2.8 and when I clicked subtitles / english , I wd get english subtitles fine. Now w/ 3.03 , when I do the same thing, i get no subtitles. What do you have to do get subtitles in 3.03?

The main problem is when people do not give information.
We don't know anything about your OS, your VLC version, your hardware and the kind of files you are trying to play.

In any case, please open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the playback, and then paste the full resulting log here or on Pastebin.com if it's too long.

Also please upload a short sample of a problematic file to Zippyshare.com (200 MB max) and then post the link to the file here.

If needed cut it with DGsplit and read here about how to do it:
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=57724&p=193335#p193335
50 MB max should be enough.

And BTW, insults do not help at all. Don't do it again, first and last warning.
