alarming color of info and record button

Is it just me or are the new colors very "alarming"? Can we adjust the color? Maybe back to the older icons?

I'm not sure what you mean.
For instance, the Record button has been relooked because some people were complaining its state, pressed or not, was not visible enough. So I guess there will not be a roll back.

I noticed a lot of the icons have changed colors with a recent update, with icons becoming a very ugly orange. I really need a way to change those.

Of course, it's free and we're willing to open source whatever you choose. In fact, we've contributed our icons for the Windows Phone version before.

Each version has 16x16, 32x32, and more (separate artworks with different level of detail).
