Win32Compile Building VLC Error

I tried to compile VLC with the instruction of this link:

I did it in VitualBox with Debian 9.3. I did not use the "prebuilt"(fast) but did a "manual build"(slow) because I want to learn more about the whole things.

I was able to go all the way until the "Building VLC" step.

When I did a "make", I saw the below error. Please point me a direction in how to fix this. I am pretty new in VideoLan. Thanks.
