Inserting jpgs into VLC player playlist

Postby alabamarivers » 17 Oct 2017 22:33

Hi everyone! I am new to the VLC player world, and have a question I hope is quick and easy!

I have a playlist of several short films in my player. I want to add "slides" in between each film that is a jpg, but currently when I do, the "slide" only plays for a very quick second. How can I set that "slide" to play for 3-5 seconds instead?

Thank you so much!

You need to convert the JPG images into video files that are 3-5 seconds long and can be played in VLC Media Player. Someone else online asked how to do that and there are various answers on how to turn a JPG file into a video at https://superuser.com/questions/608569/ ... ack-in-vlc. On that page you can find 3 different answers on how to do it.
