Error messages

When the error window pops up after you've started watching a movie there is an option to suppress further error messages. But this is forgotten every time you re-launch VLC.

Can we have this option built into the prefs so that the error window never appears again?

It's already built into the prefs. It's called the option "Quiet". It's in the Interface settings. (might be advanced).
Don't use PMs for support questions.
