Your skin has the same problems as the one of this thread:

Mainly: reversed playlist slider and invalid XML (it does not follow the DTD). The thread linked to above indicates how to see the XML errors (this is also explained in the skins2 documentation).

The XML errors are minor, just references to png's that no longer exist, nor are they needed. The playlist slider will be fixed though, thanks

Also, I'm not sure what version of VLC you're using, but here I'm using the last Win32 *release* and I do not get DTD errors.

You're right, with the 0.8.4 release (and even with the nightly builds) your skin does not output XML errors in the logs. But it doesn't mean that your XML file is correct (it is not).

I don't know why the 0.8.4 release and the nightly builds are so tolerant, but they shouldn't be, i will try to fix that...

I will post later a link to a build that shows the errors (probably tomorrow).

If you would post the DTD errors I would appreciate it, as I would like to maintain forward compatibilty with this skin
