VLC on Android TV

I'm getting audio hick-ups/drop-outs when playing video files with multi-channel audio on my Sony Android 5.x TV. A split second audio drop-out occurs every few minutes and/or every few seconds, it's random. This is not happening with other players. I'm using the most recent version available for my TV, served with the Plex PC Media Server.

Nevermind. A friend and I figured it out. It's not VLC, its the Plex server. We networked directly into shared drives/folders on our PC's and the hick-ups are gone, awesome.
