how to disable the rstp stream for IP cameras when client use such VLC software in a closed CCTV network?

Postby feng741007 » 15 Dec 2016 16:20

Dear all,

I have a question about "how to disable the rstp stream for IP cameras when client use such VLC software in a closed CCTV network"?

My environments are
1) thousands of cameras are combined with hundred of H.264 IP cameras and analogue cameras connecting with encoders (compression format: mpeg4 & H.264) .
2) A closed CCTV network combined with Juniper switches (roles as Core, Edge and a few for Access) and HP switches (role as Access only).

:D

Block it on your cameras?

Jean-Baptiste Kempf, Thanks for your reply.
The implement plan will disable the rstp protocol (554) from IP cameras in "network switches"; nor cameras end.
But I don't know to configure it, anyone has such experience and give me some suggestion for further action.
