List not fully played

Often the following happens on Windows 10.
- I select a number of MP3 in a directory, typically all songs of an album.
- I right click and choose 'play with VLC'.
- VLC starts\, shows the songs, and starts playing.
- As I have random order switched on, the order in the play list is like so.
- It always seems to start on the song at the bottom of the list.
- After playing that single song VLC stops. And that's it!
- To continue I manually have to press buttons like the next button.

This is not what it is supposed to do, and an annoyance.
