Hi there,
No matter what version of Vlc that I use, it absolutely refuses to play files that have been recorded at 50fps, or 60fps
It can handle 1920x1080p video files that my camera records at 24 or 30fps, but as soon as I record an mp4 file at 50 or 60fps Vlc can not handle it, it lags, stutters, and can not handle those files at all
I find this utterly unacceptable and am hoping that the VideoLAN devs, and community are aware of this problem and if there is a fix for this problem
For additional info that may help, I can play those EXACT SAME mp4 files with Media Player Classic, and Windows own default media player on the exact same computer that i'm trying to use Vlc with....but nope, it just seems to me that Vlc is not built to handle frame rates past 30fps
I have tried going into the settings and changed the rendering mode to directx hardware acceleration mode, instead of the default....Believe me I've changed and tinkered with all the settings but no can do
I know for a fact that this is Vlc's problem and NOT my computer because Media player Classic plays those exact same mp4 files running at 60fps with ease, no stutter, and smooth as a baby's behind
HELP!!!.....This is driving me insane!, how can a program as good as Vlc not cope with playing files as basic as content recorded at 50frames per second????
