Postby gillfargher » 10 Jun 2016 19:07

Hi
I downloaded a film and it didn't have sound so I downloaded VLC and it now works with sound on VLC but is there a way to transfer it with sound to usb so I can watch it on my TV.
Thanks

If you have an hdmi, you can just connect your computer to it directly

TV do not support all videofile formats, also not all audio codecs are supported.
There are tools available for conversions.

PS.: If you have an Android mobile phone, try to play the video on mobile phone -
probably it will not play the original video, but offer you to convert your video to a supported format.

I think you have to check for sound driver on computer or laptop.

VLC is an alternative as it seems that it doesn't need you to install additional codecs .. but i find it a little slow and awkward (i'm probably to used with bsplayer)
