Streaming video cuts off after a few seconds.

I'm using my GoPro Hero3+ in conjunction with WiGo and VLC Media player to play a live stream from my GoPro to my desktop and the video only lasts a few seconds and then cuts off. My GoPro has been updated to the latest software and I'm using the most up to date WiGo and VlC versions. The GoPro streams video fine to the GoPro app on my phone so I can eliminate a bad wifi signal potential problem. I've also restarted my computer several times like suggested by WiGO.

Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Did you try with VLC 2.1.5 too ?

I'm pretty sure I'm using version 2.2.1. I think that's the latest. I just downloaded in on Monday.

I uninstalled 2.2.1 and installed 2.1.5. Everything installed fine and the preview functioned exactly the same when I clicked Preview from WiGo. I got about 3 seconds and then it stopped. Since they both performed exactly the same I'm thinking it has to be that I have a setting set wrong.
Any other ideas?

Well, the good news is I got the preview to play continuously. I did this by looping the preview. So that's awesome!! Now the only problem I'm having is the frame rate is really jerky. When I view the wireless preview on my phone with the GoPro app it's much smoother. Any idea on how to speed up the frame rate?? I'm not sure if this is a VLC tweak or a WiGo one.
