Media>Capture>Convert>Start>Crash

Postby dailyvideo » 05 Mar 2015 23:43

Every time I try to record desktop (Media>Open Capture Dev>Mode:Desktop>Frame: 10.00f/s>Play/Convert>Destination>Start> it just crashes immediately.

I have tried to reinstall the 64 bit version and same result.

Windows 8.1 64 bit

Any ideas? Thanks!

Also, this happens regardless of it being h264 or wmv, any format.

Please share the logs before the crash.
How do I find the log to share. When the popup comes on the screen to send in the crash report I can send that if I disable my firewall. If I check for updates it says "An error occurred while checking for updates."

Thanks.

Are you asking how to share a log?

If so, I haven't done this myself, but according to Administrators on multiple other threads, to share a log:

Open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the operation and then paste the full resulting log here or on Pastebin.com if it's too long.
