[streaming] Couple of questions

Postby yetanotherlogin » 21 Jan 2015 23:34

Hello

I just used VLC (2.1.5) to save a two-hour streaming audio file (M3U) through "Media > Open Network Stream", and have a couple of questions:
  1. Until download is complete, the file is still 0-byte long: What happens if VLC or the computer crashes before the file is saved?
  2. Is there a temporary file I can listen to while VLC is still busy downloading the rest of the stream?
Thank you.
