Video rotation made easy

Hi everyone,

As more and more videos are being recorded by mobile phones, we have more and more videos recorded vertically. Viewing them in the computer with VLC is a pain in the ass, so, I have a request for an easy way to rotate videos:

- The perfect option: VLC automatically detects the video orientation (as Quick Time does) and plays it properly without user interaction. This implies some coding (I don't know the difficulty of it).

- The valid option: just add a shortcut (hot key) to rotate a video 90º with each press (shift+press to rotate in opposite direction). This implies no coding at all.

Please, please, please, add at least the valid option. It takes almost no time to implement and it would be a GREAT addition to your program.
