An explanation about opening incomplete videos please

Postby TheKiller » 24 Sep 2014 07:09

When you are starting to play a video file that was partially downloaded, VLC cant play the certain video you open, but instead, it plays a different video that you either have on your drive, or even if you had it there but you ve long deleted it. Why does this happen ?

VLC cannot play deleted videos to begin with.

That's impossible. You're not making any sense.

You try opening some incomplete video files and vlc will play some other cached source of another video. Even if the source has been deleted..
