For Chrome I get a gray box that says this

I can click on the box to give permission or I can use this that also pops up

but neither work I always get this instead

For Firefox I get a similar gray box

and like chrome I can click the box or allow from here

Once I do however it just turns into an empty space where the video is suppose to show. Any ideas how to fix this? I've tried uninstalling the browsers and re-installing. When that didn't work I tried un and re-installing VLC and that didn't work either. I'm not sure what else I could do.
*UPDATE* I seem to have no problems with the plugin in Internet Explorer.
