There have been 64 bit builds of previous VLC versions but the latest release 2.1.5 only shows win32. Will a 64bit build be produced?

I was wondering the same?
I can only update to 2.1.5 for 32bit & I also need the 64 bit link as the old ones that are posted are from Jan. 31/14, but looking in my programs list I have an update from Feb.7 14 for 64 bit.
How will we know when the 64 bit Win 7 will be posted?
