VLC Second screen

So since the last update I think the second screen doesn't work properly, at least for me. I simply put my phone (Samsung S4) in a dock which is connected through hdmi to my TV. Usually it works perfect and plays the video on my phone and on my TV. Right now it doesn't play on either when connected to the dock/tv, landscape or portrait mode. Any solutions and is this issue known?

VLC for android 0.9.1

I'll assume my issue is related and thus continue this thread.

Since around the 0.9 nightlies (also pre 0.9), my Nexus 10 didn't always correctly display VIDEO on the HDMI output (sound is working!), usually restarting the video a few times and/or physically reconnecting the screen, however, worked.
Since 0.9.1, however, the video on the external screen's video is _never_ shown (black screen, again with audio working).
The controls on the primary (device) screen are shown and working normally.

The second screen works normally when not in playback mode (file selection/browsing mode).

Same results with both Android Surface and OpenGL output module (btw, which one is preferred?)

Hi,

Try to disable Hardware Acceleration settings :

Preferences > Hardware Acceleration > Disabled

It should work, we have some issues with Hardware Acceleration and secondary display.
