Are there shortcuts for mirror and flip?

Postby hpcampr2 » 19 Feb 2014 19:07

Are there keyboard shortcuts for mirror and flip? Normally I use smplayer but lately it has some trouble playing certain flv files. VLC Player plays them right through. One thing smplayer has that I prefer is shortcut keys for some functions I use a lot. Alt+F=Flip and Alt+M=Mirror. Is there a way to do this in VLC Player? Thanks

No, there are no such keyboards.

Sorry to hear that but thanks for the answer. Smplayer is superior in it's use of hotkeys in this regard. Also when doing a screen capture one must only press s and it captures and advances the frame at the same time.It takes forever to capture a sequence with vlc player ,for example like a tennis serve. But as I said smplayer is having problems with some flv playback issues lately. I wish vlc player and smplayer would merge and get the best of both.

Capturing a sequence is very simple with VLC. Use the scene filter.

I hadn't heard of that. I'll be looking into it. Thanks
