Where? What dialog box are you filling in?first, spaces are not allowed in a file name (this was done with 0.8.2, ins't it ?)
I managed to put it back in the sources, and now it's ok, at least on my linux (don't know for windows)
can post a .diff if needed, but it's only a matter of adding a '\' before spaces in the filename
I don't understand what you are saying here. "named in a correct way???" You mean perhaps that if tracks don't identify their track language, that you cannot use this method? OGM for instance doesn't allow for track languages, only for comments which report the language. (what is stupid of course).second, I need to be able to change audio tracks and subtitles languages during streaming (I'm fond of japanese anime, with subs in english, but when starting the video, the language is the default one (english) and no subs on the scren...)
my first though was to add '--audio-language ja' (or jpn) and '--sub-language en' in the command line, but that doesn't work if the tracks aren't named in a correct way...
Please mail your patches to vlc-devel@videolan.orgwill there be any possibility in the http interface to change audio and subs on-the-fly ?
I did some mods on the macro files (.c and .h) to add two commands that allows to cycle through audio and subs tracks, if needed I can post them somewhere
The add dialog box in the web page you have when connecting to your stream server (for example, http://localhost:8080)Where? What dialog box are you filling in?
Code: Select all
- /home/user/Film/Bleach 51.avi (/home/user/Film/Bleach )
well doesn't matter anymoreI don't understand what you are saying here. "named in a correct way???" I didn't know... I feel like re-inventing the wheel... arfThe track cycling was developed for the webinterface of Freeplayer, and is not in use by VLC's own webinterface atm. If you change this, then we more then welcome these changes.
I clean the code a lil' bit (did some other tests meanwhile) and I send this ASAPPlease mail your patches to vlc-devel@videolan.org
maybe you need to deactivate "float32" also. read this thread: viewtopic.php?t=10125With VLC 0.8.4 Test-1a I get extrem loud sound! It sound's completely overdriven, so I cannot use VLC at all !!!
Seems to happen with all Video- and Audio-Files...
When I switch to "Win32 WaveOut" I don't hear anything
My OS is WindowsXP

@ the vlc developers: why don't you output 32bit (or 24bit) fixed point by default? i could swear this way many of these reports would stop (and i could get 24bit output with my rme-card). i don't like the limitation to 16bit (with deactivated "float32") ...
