To convert a .VOB file : choice of an audio channel

Postby Piemonard » 21 Nov 2013 13:13

I would like to convert a .VOB file provided on a DVD in an asf file.
This DVD supports a video which can be heard in 5 different languages. In the DVD I have found a .VOB file which supports 5 différents audio tracks.
When I convert the .VOB file in an asf file through the VLC GUI , there is no choice available for an audio-track.
Therefore a default track is choosen but it is not the one I want.
How may I choose the audio-track?

Thank you in advance for the help.

Use option --audio-track or --audio-track-id in Open Media dialog:
[v] Show more options
Edit Options [ :file-caching=300 :audio-track=0]

Is this answer for Windows VLC?

There's no "Open Media" dialog (it says "Open File")
There's nowhere to add the command lines you say...
Use option --audio-track or --audio-track-id in Open Media dialog:
[v] Show more options
Edit Options [ :file-caching=300 :audio-track=0]
