dts 5.1 & sacd-iso audio file

hi,
i tried vlc 2.1.0 with dts 5.1 audio files and it is not working in imac ... should it work or not?...

it did not work with version vlc 2.0.8...

i hope vlc could also work on sacd-iso audio file as well ... i tried vlc 2.1.0 and it is not working on sacd-iso audio file...

can i request vlc to work with dts 5.1 & 6.1 audio files and sacd-iso audio files in future release?...
