Using Windows Scheduler is not a solution at all.

I checked. It does not make it possible to schedule an automatic start of the recording. It only opens the VLC at the scheduled time. And that is of no use.

Scheduling recordings means that VLC is made to start recording at a scheduled time. This is a very desirable option.
