Did you try enabling hardware decoding in the preferences?
Yep, tried enabling/disabling it and, unfortunately, it still won't play properly. I also tried changing the CPU to Performance mode to see if that would help but it didn't seem to make much (if any) difference.

Given that it is a Tegra2, the ARMv7 nightlies should work fine: http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/arm ... -debug.apk

Hi,

The 2012-12-06 release on my Nexus 7 works really well, the only format that it does not seem to play is "*.ts" - do you plan to support this format in a future release? Thanks

It should already work. How does it appear for you?

Well, it has a MSM7227, which has a FPU, so here you go: http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/arm ... -debug.apk

edwardw, thanks for the link! So, I'm new here. I just tried the nightly build you pointed me to and tried several different video/audio formats. The video plays correctly on everything, but the audio does nothing but generate electronic noise (semi random popping and buzzing). How do I go about reporting problems, or should I even bother for the nightly build? If I shouldn't report errors for the nightly build, is there a more stable build that should be used for bug reports?

Many thanks for your prompt response. It seems I was just being too impatient! After I double clicked on the video (2.3 GByte) the screen went blank, but after doing this again and waiting for 32 seconds the video started playing. Perhaps the app could display something on the screen during this time to reassure users it is taking a moment to load the file?
