How to decode any video files into video and audio streams?

Postby jiapei100 » 25 Mar 2012 11:30

Hi, all:

Any sample code for decoding an arbitrary video files into a video stream and an audio stream by using libVLC?
Looking forward to analyze both streams from my side.

Thank you very much...
Pei

I don't understand what you want. You want to split them into raw files?

Did u ever try FFMPEG? If so, you should know what every video file is mainly composed of two (or even more) streams, including:
an audio stream
a video stream
a subtitle stream
etc.

I'm not splitting a video file into raw files, but splitting a video file and get the raw data ! I need to analyze the video files, namely, what particular data is stored in this video file !!

I don't understand what you want. You want to split them into raw files?
