VLC can not play a captured MPG. How to start with debugging?

Yep, VLC can't play this file whilst it's playing fine with MPlayer and FFplay.
You should create a ticket on the bug tracker about this issue. And also open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the playback and then join the full resulting log to the ticket.

2.01 does not play the files either.. Windows Media Center does fine as well..
Anything I can test here?
