Controlling VOD through http interface

Postby rtnair » 19 Aug 2005 08:14

hi,

i use vlc with debian sarge (apt-get install vlc) for vod purpose; and want to use http interface to control the operations. i don't see any option in the http interface to add new vod streams. as i find http interface most user-friendly, request you to add vod control options in the future release.

thank you.
raja.

AFAIK, it's not really broken but very user-unfriendly. Basically, you just type VLM commands in HTML forms instead of command line :)

Improving this is on our todo list ... help welcome :)
