How to install the VLC 0.8.2 ??

but I'can install VLC (because I want see movie)

I will take all packet install ~but some packet can't install
like "libffmpeg0-0.4.9-3.pm.pre1.i686.rpm"

I am in terminal key:

rpm -ivh libffmpeg0-0.4.9-3.pm.pre1.i686.rpm

It show:

That means that you need to install the lame / libmp3lame package first. It should be available on the same page or even in the same archive you downloaded.

(There is no need to put the output in such big letters btw. I think that most of our eyes are still pretty good.)

VLC should be listed inside the Application-menus of your Gnome or KDE desktop. If it isn't (I doubt that), you can still run it by typing "vlc" inside a terminal.

Thank you,I find the way to install VLC,also list my multimedia.

but I try to open it , it show wait logo , wait a few ,it is disapear.

Hmm, VLC cannot show a wait-logo at the moment (that will come though ), so that's really strange indeed.

What kind of files do you want to play?

Could post some messages from View -> Messages (note that you need to open that window before trying to play your file)?
