I priced this out using VeriSign http://www.symantec.com/verisign/code-s ... ticode/buy and it appears it will cost between $400-$500 US dollars per year. So maybe the solution is several of us need to make restricted donations to VideoLAN stating this money can only be used for work related to providing and signing ActiveX controls. If this is the case, then how do I make a restricted donation? This comes at a cost which the VideoLAN project is not able to bear.
even Mozilla is acting like this, why Are Plug-ins not signed by Mozilla Foundation ????? they are making millions of Google search but every freaking plug-in is " author not verified "1 Year $499
2 Year $895
Save over $100
3 Year $1295
Save over $200
