VideoLan and Pinnacle capture card

Postby isidro » 25 Jul 2005 16:38

Hi everyone,

I am trying to use a Pinnacle capture card and VLC but not successfully.

VLC is able to discover de video and audio devices but when I start capturing the image is disturbed by a periodic blur, and VLC console interface puts a message that EOB is missing.

Do you know how to solve this problem?

After capturing I’m planning to transmit for several end points. I have already succeeded in doing so with a web cam but now I’m using a video camera and a Pinnacle card instead.

Do you have suggestions for choosing the best mux and video codec in this case?

Best regards,

Isidro.
