change audio track with http interface

Postby mrteewan » 07 Feb 2012 01:46

Is it possible to change the audio track with the http interface? I'm also interested in being able to change the subtitle track as well as sending hotkeys for controlling DVD's.

Any hints on whether this is possible currently or in the upcoming 1.2 release (I noticed a lot of changes to the http interface for 1.2)?

I'd really appreciate some info, been searching everywhere but just can't seem to find anything.

are you talking about different audio tracks within same media file (for example different language tracks in same .avi)?

I think it's not implemented yet...

Both work fine with ts streams. I'll try with some movie and post (but I don't see why it woudn't work)... Bigger problem with new interface is with automatic embedding subtitles in overlay or a lack of docs/examples) on-the-fly in my opinion...

EDIT:
yes, it works ok with embedded subs as well as with dual-audio switching.

Are you talking about the http interface? If so how?
