VLC 1.2 and Ubuntu 12.04 feature freeze?

VLC 1.2 and Ubuntu 12.04 feature freeze?

Will VLC 1.2 released befure Ubuntu feature freeze, if not then Ubuntu 12.04 will use VLC 1.1.x 5 years.

I hope so. But Linux distributions are not helping to make it happen [the VLC release]. And the community is not helping much either.

Yes i understand amazing VLC team hard work, i just wish luck and hope for best. Sometimes this Ubuntu feature freeze is nasty thing because it will keep very old software in, they should freeze system libs not 3-rd party apps but this is offtopic so...

I will make my best. But so far, the linux distros have not even tested any -pre version of 1.2.0
