Not unless you recompile.

Not unless you recompile.
Do you mean change source code?

Is there any normal solution? Is it VLC bug or wrong certificate from server?

Probably a certificate mismatch.

Hi,

I am having the same problem as listed below.
Where should I place the certificate files? And where do I get these certificates?
I have experimented with SSL CertScanner to retrieve the certificate for *.rapidshare.com, but didn't succeed.
I'm stuck.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

i solve this problem by export "WebSpace-Forum Server" cerificate (you can use firefox, which can do it)
You must save it in "~/.local/share/vlc/ssl/certs/some-name.crt"

I hope it helps

P.S. there is the certificate - http://ubuntuone.com/2uXrRBsXFrDaC5UHUSNIxt
