Scheduled video broadcasting in VLC media player

Postby sonofthecrimsonking » 18 Sep 2011 09:29

Hi all,

I've read the Streaming documentation at http://wiki.videolan.org/Documentation: ... _Streaming.

I have one question, is it possible to set up a schedule or playlist of video files so that Video File A plays at 12:00, Video File B plays at 12:30, Video File C plays at 1:00 and so forth.

I appreciate your answers.

Thanks.

I'm sure you could write a cron to run the stream commands at certain times. This is an option that requires command line knowledge of running vlc.
